The Sharks flanker, who is currently sidelined with a hand injury, will appear before a disciplinary hearing in Leeds next Monday evening after being cited for stamping during last Friday’s home defeat by Bath.
Abraham was banned on two separate occasions last season – the first ironically against Bath – for head butting. The second offence, which came in a game at Saracens, saw the 25 year-old suspended for the last two months of the season and Sale officials will be hugely disappointed if he is found guilty again.
