SHARKS will host the leaders of the Guinness Premiership – for the second time in two matches.
Bath assumed the top spot after victory over London Irish just in time for their big clash with Sale on Friday (kick-off 7.45pm).
Sharks’ last match was a 22-16 victory over the then leaders Gloucester at Edgeley Park.
The game promises to be a tough contest as Bath’s squad includes talented Olly Barkley, Matt Stevens, Steve Borthwick and Matt Banahan.
Sharks have already beaten Bath at home this season, in the EDF Energy Cup match in November, but this game will be of vital importance to both teams and Sale will need to be at their best to defeat them again.
The following Friday Sharks take on Brive in the European Challenge Cup quarter-final.
Sharks have won the European Challenge Cup on the last two occasions on which they’ve entered the competition and are focused on claiming it again to guarantee their place in next season’s Heineken Cup.
Tickets for these games are available from £15 for adults and £7 for juniors. Book now by calling 08444 994 994 or order online at www.salesharks.com.
