SALE Sharks winger Mark Cueto is hoping for a swift return after limping off the field during his side's disappointing 17-16 Heineken Cup defeat at Swansea.

A scan revealed there is no major damage and the England winger could be back very soon.

He said: "The ankle eased over the weekend and I am happy with the scan results.

"There is fluid around the joint, which is to be expected but the Sale Sharks physio team are looking after me and I am aiming to be fit for the weekend.

"I was in a lot of pain at first, and there was a fear that I had damaged my Achilles tendon."

In National One, Sedgley blew their best chance of earning the first win of the season as they went down 32-25 at Moseley.

Park led 22-5 at half-time, thanks to tries from Andy Craig, Phil Jones and Chris Wilkinson.

Efforts

But after the break Moseley hit back leaving Park with just a losing bonus point.

In National Two, Manchester got the better of Cambridge 29-10 after Gareth Rawlings, Matt MacKenzie, Richard Wainwright and Danny Collins had all scored tries.

But victory may have come at a price with injuries to Rawlings and skipper Jamie Bramhall.

Macclesfield slipped down the table after losing 18-13 to second-placed Rugby Lions.

Back row forward Adam Mursal scored Macc's only try of the game with Ross Winney adding the rest of the points with the boot.

Orrell's miserable season continued with a 73-29 defeat at the hands of Darlington Mowden Park.
