SEDGLEY Tigers put up a spirited fight against Leeds but again came away with nothing.

Two Phil Jones penalties and a Chris Hall try put Sedgley 10-0 ahead after 19 minutes before Leeds replied with a converted try.

Jon Skurr darted over for Sedgley's second which Jones converted.

But then Leeds hit back and ran in three tries with Park only able to muster another Jones penalty as they eventually lost 35-20.

Manchester cruised to a 65-12 win over struggling Harrogate and ran in 11 tries in the process.

Dave Wood, Matt Owen, Gareth Wynn, Gareth Rawlings and Isaac Richmond all touched down along with James Dalton and new boy Richard Wain- wright.

In National Three North, Macclesfield just lost out 23-20 to Tynedale. Dave Jones, Will Stockdale and Ollie Hewitt all scored tries with Phil Macey adding a penalty and a conversion.
