SALE Sharks' Sebastien Chabal has been suspended for two weeks following a Rugby Union disciplinary hearing last night.

The 26-year-old No 8 was found guilty of stamping on an opponent during a Zurich Premiership match against Bath on November 13 and will next be able to play in the European Challenge Cup second round, second leg match against Narbonne on Dec 10.

The disciplinary hearing was chaired by Rick Charles with Mike Curling and Chris Quinlan sitting on the panel. Tweet
