This could mean, if London Wasps do the business in the Heineken Cup Final against Toulouse, that we get automatic entry into the European contest next season. We can't rely on anyone else doing our work for us, however, so have to go out with the aim of not just winning our last two league games away from home, but also picking up what could be crucial try-scoring bonus points.
At least we are getting among the tries again, with our wings Mark Cueto and Steve Hanley both looking and doing the business.
The game at Vicarage Road will be a strange one, because we have lost four members of our pack to Saracens, along with our former forwards coach Steve Diamond. I suppose we could do with Dimes' new boys doing us a favour in helping us to win there for the first time, although I can't see that happening.
Saracens are out of the chase for a European spot, so they don't have that incentive. But you can't assume that they won't be taking things seriously.
In front of their own fans, they will be keen to perform and in Dimes they have someone who knows a lot about us.
It would be nice to win there and get rid of the Vicarage Road bogey.
I don't know why, but we've even failed there when we have supposedly been going well and Sarries have been struggling.
This is a very big game for us, but we seem to have slipped into a bit of form and it was pleasing to play so well last week against Newcastle after being beaten by them in the Powergen Cup final.
The important thing is that the confidence is back - demonstrated by the number of tries we have been scoring lately.
We have great finishers in our back three of Kwates, Stan Hanley and Jason Robinson, so it's up to the rest of us to make sure they get plenty of ball - and then we may lay to rest the ghost of Vicarage Road once and for all.
