SALE Sharks have completed the signing of Samoan international Andy Tuilagi on a four-year contract.

Tuilagi, a centre or wing, made seven appearances for Leeds Carnegie last season after moving to Yorkshire from Leicester.

He has won 14 Test caps and was part of Samoa's 2007 World Cup squad.

Sharks rugby director Philippe Saint-Andre said: "Andy is a great acquisition for the club.

"He is young, strong and has played at international level."
