The dual-code legend, who signed for the club in 2000, will turn out for his 533rd top-flight game as a professional but could still feature for England over the summer and in the World Cup in France in September.
Robinson said: "It will be an emotional occasion saying goodbye to the Sale supporters.
"They have grown in numbers and followed us loyally over the last seven seasons, and I wanted my last club game to be at Edgeley Park to say goodbye to them.
"I have many special memories, playing with and against the best players in both codes, winning trophies with England, Wigan and Sharks.
"I enjoyed the recent Six Nations and scored four tries in the competition.
"I have made myself available for the games in South Africa, and will, if selected, bow out trying to help England retain the World Cup."
It was a big move for Robinson as he turned his back on rugby league in favour of union, having won a host of medals with Wigan Warriors.
But within months of signing for Sale, he was fast-tracked into the England squad, and there was no looking back.
Memento
Robinson helped Sale to two European Challenge Cup victories and last season, as skipper, was instrumental in the Edgeley Park side not only winning the league but claiming the Guinness Premiership title.
He was part of the England side who won the Six Nations Grand Slam in 2003 and went on to score a try in the World Cup final, when England defeated host nation Australia.
He was also part of two British and Irish Lions tours, in 2001 and 2004.
The club have produced a special memento to mark the occasion in the form of a limited edition T-shirt.
The white shirt with navy print will be available from the club shop from 3pm today or from various selling points around the ground priced at £10.
Fans can pre-order for collection today by calling 0161 286 8899 between 1pm and 5.30pm.
Also available will be Jason Robinson mugs, a legends T-Shirt plus framed signed prints and unsigned posters.
Aside from Robinson's retirement, it is a big game for Sale.
Northampton Saints and Worcester Warriors are battling it out at the foot of the table but both can mathematically catch Sale, although Saints would need to win both their games with a bonus point in each to make up ground.
Mark Cueto is struggling with a calf strain, so England Under-20 winger Selorm Kuadey makes his Premiership debut for the Sharks on the left wing.
Kuadey has played one game previously in the first team against Llanelli Scarlets in the EDF Energy Cup in 2005.
Lionel Faure, Julien Laharrague and Ignacio Fernandez Lobbe have all got niggling injuries but should be fit for the final game of the season against Harlequins.
Improved
Head coach Kingsley Jones said: "Bath are a much improved side and still in with a chance of winning silverware in the European Challenge Cup.
"We know it will be tough but we are aiming to give Jason a winning send-off."
Tickets are still available by phone on 08712 220120.
