The Vikings raced ahead at Leigh Sports Village as Gavin Dodd crossed out wide and James Webster followed up last week's hat-trick with another try.
Leigh got back into the game when Andy Hobson was controversially awarded a try by the video referee and went ahead with two in quick succession from Dave Alstead.
The Vikings levelled at 14-14 early in the second half as Webster's kick found Michael Ostick, but Stuart Donlan squeezed over in the corner for Leigh.
Ian Mort's three goals also proved crucial for the Centurions and former Viking Ian Watson added a drop goal.
