Oldham, who are smarting from four successive defeats, host Whitehaven tomorrow and will return to Boundary Park on July 21.
Hamilton said: "We have two or three alternative venues under consideration at this stage."
The team have been badly hit by injuries this season with up to 14 players missing from a 24-man squad and Hamilton added: "I've never known a run like this.
"Five trialists played against Leigh and, even though we lost, the performance was very encouraging under the circumstances.
"We just hope things can pick up and we get a bit of luck on the injury front."
Danny Guest won't play again this season due to a broken leg and Alan Hadcrost is also out after undergoing shoulder reconstruction.
Jed Corcoran and Mick Redford have both suffered fractured eye socket injuries but Gareth Barber and Mark Roberts could be back tomorrow.
Swinton Lions could be without Wes Rogers, Martin Moana and Andy Crabtree for their visit to Barrow.
Stuart Oldham and Craig Farrimond are also out but Kris Smith and Ian Parry return.
Rochdale Hornets are at full strength at Halifax, Leigh travel to York and Widnes coach Steve McCormack again has major injury problems at home to Hull KR. Tweet

Although I 'follow from afar' it is with sadness I witness the demise of the Roughyeds. Injuries or not the club cannot survive on such low attendances but the crowds won't come when they are asked to pay ??15.00 to watch an assembled bunch of amateurs drawn from local leagues. It's a very ominous sign.
