League investigate Nazi jibe

THE Rugby League are to investigate comments made by Great Britain and Bradford coach Brian Noble comparing a refereeing clampdown to Nazi Germany.

Noble complained about two dissent penalties given against his side in the Bulls' defeat by Leeds at Odsal on March 24.

"That's how Nazi Germany started," Noble said after the game. "They'll be burning books next."

The matter is being looked into by the RFL's disciplinary commissioner.
