Jerome jumps in

JEROME Guisset can't wait to get to grips with Bradford Bulls tonight.

The big Frenchman is likely to make his debut for Wigan Warriors from the bench and is relishing being back in Super League after a short spell in rugby union with Brive.

Guisset, who previously played for Warrington and is no stranger to tackling the Odsal heavyweights head-on, said: "The big games always bring the best out of a player.

"I have played rugby league all my life and was missing the excitement of it after only a few months with Brive when I decided that union was not for me.

"I'm glad to be back and look forward to success with Wigan."

Smarting

Warriors coach Denis Betts said: "Looking at Jerome's fitness levels it's as though he has never been away from league. He has been playing regularly and we know he can do a good job for us."

Wigan could also welcome back Danny Sculthorpe from injury.

Bradford boss Brian Noble, smarting after two defeats, has been boosted by the return of Michael Withers and Leslie Vainikolo to his squad.

He could also make positional changes as he looks for a first win.
