Two tries in four second-half minutes from Paul Ballard stunned Rochdale Hornets as they lost in the league for the first time this season.
Balu Fagborun went over in the 18th minute for the Hornets to cancel out Martin Keavney's ninth-minute opener.
But Blackpool pulled away as Neil Holland and John Clough gave the Panthers an 18-4 lead in the Championship One clash.
Ballard's double then put the game beyond the Hornets while further tries from Casey Maybury and Paul Alcock sealed the win.
Rochdale's second-half efforts from Wayne Corcoran and Dayne Donoghue were too little, too late.
Touch-judge Sarah Bennison made history as she became the first female official in professional rugby league.

"They lost for the first time in the league this season". Yes true, but they've only played 2 games.
