ECCLES and Salford clinched their first win since last December thanks to an injury time try by Adam Taher and touchline goal by Mike Davies at Hull Isberg in the Fraser Eagle National Conference League.

Eccles, relegated to division two this season, trailed 14-12 but snatched an 18-14 win, Neil Farrow and Robbie Spencer having got earlier tries.

A Ryan Blake try with two minutes remaining gave Oldham St Anne's a 22-20 win over Stanningley in division one.

St Anne's had tries from Chris Carter, Mark Dixon and Dave Sweeney, Kiel Lancashire kicking three goals.

Leigh East ran out 44-6 victors over West Hull while neighbours Leigh Miners suffered their first defeat, 26-12 at Oulton Raiders.

Kevin Murphy got a hat-trick of tries for East with the others coming from Craig Wingfield, Danny Kilshaw, Simon Stevens, Craig Graham and Ryan Smith. Leon Brennan kicked seven goals.

Miners' tries came from Dean Balmer and Chris Humphreys, plus two Martyn Ridyard goals.
