WHAT next for Paul Cullen? He parted company with Warrington Wolves this week and no doubt walked away from the Halliwell Jones Stadium with his pride wounded.
It's been mooted he had lost the dressing room.
Cullen can, however, feel let down by a number of players who have simply not performed.
Cullen's departure was inevitable but don't be surprised to see him resurface in rugby union. The word on the street is that Sale Sharks may soon come knocking at Mr Cullen's door with a job offer.
Who knows just what will happen but one thing is for sure - Warrington are the sport's great pretenders.
Every season, they splash the cash and talk up what they're going to do and what they're going to win.
But every year, they come up short - so it's time to put up, shut up and go find a new coach.
Ellery Hanley is the favourite to succeed Culleen, but whoever comes in must crack the whip and do something about the culture of the club.
The club's problems may well lie within the dressing room but it's poor old Cull who has had to carry the can and pick up his P45. Tweet
