Hull 46 Warrington 14

WARRINGTON slumped to a heavy defeat against Hull after a second-half collapse at the KC Stadium.

The Wolves led 14-12 with a minute to go to the interval but a Shaun Briscoe try on the stroke of the hooter and Gareth Raynor's 42nd-minute effort saw the game swing Hull's way.

They posted eight tries in total, with Willie Manu and Motu Tony (two) particularly impressive and their coach Peter Sharp paid tribute to his side's togetherness after they moved into fourth position.

"It's been a bit of a disruptive season, and an interesting one," he said.

"We've had some things thrown at us throughout the season. I must say that outside the organisation some people were asking questions of us, but inside the organisation the players have been absolutely rock-solid all along."

Warrington's forward Paul Wood will face the Rugby Football League disciplinary panel after becoming the fourth player to see red this season for a high shot on Scott Wheeldon. Henry Fa'afili took his try tally to 19 for the season for the Wolves who slip to sixth.
