JAMIE Spencer is hot favourite to bag the all-weather jockeys’ title this winter and can continue his quest for the crown with yet another winner at Lingfield.

His mount Andean Margin is the pick in the Pat Eddery Racing Valentine’s Gallops Morning Handicap after placed efforts on his three most recent starts.

The three-year-old was a winner at Southwell back in December but has failed to hit the mark in three subsequent starts, filling the runner-up spot on each occasion.

Andean Margin just got caught out by an early move from eventual winner Dream Date over tomorrow’s course and distance earlier in the month and that disappointment is probably best forgotten.

Admittedly the handicapper has not been too generous in raising him a further 3lb for such consistency, but Andean Margin looks a useful type in what is not the strongest of races.
