More Tea Vicar looks set to run a big race in the Southwell-Racecourse.co.uk Maiden Auction Stakes at the Nottinghamshire venue.

Richard Fahey’s filly has only has had two starts to date but there was distinct improvement from her first experience to her second.

Fifth on debut at Wolverhampton, she stepped up on that significantly to finish a half-length third at Great Leighs a fortnight later.

The juvenile could be considered slightly unlucky that day too as she could not get a run until the first two had shot clear.

A big run is anticipated here with only minimal progression required.
