World heptathlon and pentathlon champion Ennis races Olympic 400m winner Ohuruogu over 150m.
Neither are used to the distance but it promises to be a fascinating clash.
Former world 400m gold medalist Ohuruogu holds the British record and has an unofficial clocking of 16.94 seconds. Trafford AC all-rounder Ennis has clocked 11.68 for 100m and 23.15 for 200m.
"Jess is no slouch," Ohuruogu told MEN Sport.
"I'm looking forward to racing her but I enjoy racing against anyone. I feel good and my training has gone well.
"Can I break the British record again? We'll have to wait and see. Hopefully, the weather in Manchester is better than last year."
Mancunian teenager Shaunna Thompson is looking for a notable scalp on Sunday.
Vikki Barr completes an all British line-up.
Thompson is in the GB junior squad for the McCain Loughborough International meeting on May 23 with Trafford's James Bowness (800m), Harry Ellis of Warrington (1500m) and Sale pole-vaulter Andrew Sutcliffe.
