Jamie Donaldson bounces back to make Dubai Desert Classic cut

Lee Westwood, who finished the second round on 10 under, at the Dubai Desert Classic

Macclesfield golfer Jamie Donaldson recovered to shoot 67 and make the cut in the Dubai Desert Classic.

Donaldson fired seven birdies en route to a five under par round on Friday - three under for the tournament - to make the weekend after his first round 74.

Styal's David Horsey had a tournament to forget, however, following up his first round 76 with a 73.

Rory McIlroy and Thomas Bjorn lead the way on 13 under par.
