Bramhall's Bronte Law joined fellow English players Sophie Godley and Georgia Hall into to the last 16 of the British Girls' Championship at Gullane, Scotland, writes David Birtill.

The trio survived a very rainy day, when the local roads were flooded but the links remained open. Bronte described the conditions as "horrific."

The 16-year-old made her way through the first two rounds by beating Maria Tonnessen  of Norway 4&3 and then Daisy Nielsen of Denmark by the same margin. She will play Belgium's Margaux Vanmol in today's third round. Tweet
