Practice Drill: Breathe Through Your Heart

The chances are high that you are going to feel some tension or anxiety during your round of golf.

A great exercise that is very effective for calming you down is to do something I call ‘breathing through your heart’. 

Very simply concentrate your attention on your heart area and imagine you are taking some deep breaths through your heart. 

The more that you do this, the more that your heart rate will slow down. 

This gives the signal to the brain that everything is OK, that you feel calm and can actually do this.

Give this a go on the golf course and I promise you, you will feel the difference.
