FANCY playing some of the best nine holes in the world without leaving Greater Manchester?

Playgolf has unveiled a miniature course featuring model replicas of Augusta's famous 16th, the 18th at the Belfry and other signature holes at Sawgrass, St Andrews, Torrey Pines, Carnoustie and Royal Birkdale.

It's the latest outdoor attraction at the Trafford Park range which last month completed the world's first X Factor-style search for a young golf star. 

Boss Craig Whitfield said: "This is the ultimate putting experience for everyone, regardless of age or ability. It's great fun for the whole family and a unique putting practice for the keen player." 

Course designer Nick Ashfield added: "This is our flagship site - there's nothing like it anywhere else in the world!"

You could win a year's free ticket to play the course, which is floodlit, in a competition which runs until January 4. Simply register your score with the reception staff and one winner from each of three age categories will be randomly selected.
