Manager Paul Jewell is unlikely to change a winning line-up as his Division One leaders chase a sixth successive win when they entertain Watford tomorrow.
Horsfield has settled in well, scoring in both his games so far - against Wimbledon and West Brom - since his £1m move from Birmingham.
And he believes things will get even better.
"Nathan can go all the way to the top," he said. "He is a young lad with fantastic potential and we're getting to know on another's play.
"His pace and robust style remind me so much of Barry Hailes who I played alongside at Fulham."
Ray Lewington's Watford will be dogged opponents and Jewell, who watched their midweek defeat at Derby, will no doubt call for the high-tempo approach which has been a feature of his team's success.
Jewell will see how Jason Jarrett's knee injury responds to treatment. Tony Dinning will continue to deputise.
