KEVIN Kilbane has joined Wigan on a three-year deal from Everton.
The Republic of Ireland star will provide an option down the left for the Latics, and there is an option for another year on the deal.
Boss Paul Jewell told the club's website, www.wiganlatics.co.uk: "I am delighted Kevin has agreed to come on board. He is another real quality acquisition for us, a highly experienced player who has seen it all at Premiership level.
"I have been a long time admirer because he is a Wigan type of player, committed, athletic, quick and talented."
Kilbane added: "Paul Jewell is my type of manager because he likes to be close to the players and now I just want to join up with the rest of the squad and play my part."
Meanwhile Graham Kavanagh is on his way to Sunderland.

Kilbane had one good season at Everton and that was it, I think most Evertonions will be glad to see the back of him!! Altho he will run all day he rarely does anything with it and just isn't good enough to play for the blues, We will be a better team without him and the 2million Moyes got for him was a masterstroke, hopefully he will invest it in a quality left winger!! Sorry Wigan but you've bought a donkey!!! eeee ore!!
