Wigan have a clean bill of health for the Barclays Premier League clash against Tottenham at the DW Stadium.

Latics have had 12 players on international duty over the past fortnight but none have reported back with injuries.

Antolin Alcaraz (Paraguay), Maynor Figueroa and Hendry Thomas (both Honduras) were the last players to return but should have sufficient recovery time.

Boss Roberto Martinez said: "From now until the end of the season the margins are going to be very small.

"Points are going to get bigger and bigger in significance in the table.

"We are looking at it as a whole. In the next eight games we need to get enough points to achieve our aim and the home fixtures are going to be very important."

Gareth Bale (hamstring) and William Gallas (knee) are out of Tottenham's side.

Ledley King (groin), Younes Kaboul (thigh), Jonathan Woodgate (calf) are also out, leaving Michael Dawson and Sebastien Bassong as Spurs' only two fit centre-halves.

Tom Huddlestone could play his first match in almost five months after coming through a friendly against Barnet unscathed.
