Latics skipper Matt Jackson is relishing facing a Wolves team who have already drawn three games at home.
He said: "We are going there full of confidence. While some sides will settle for a draw we'll be thinking we can win.
"I'm sure this division is something of a culture shock to teams coming down from the Premiership as to just how good and competitive it is.
"We are flying right now while Wolves have had a bad start by their own high standards.
"When the fixtures came out we looked at the first six games and said they were the hardest set of matches in the league but we've been delighted with how things have gone.
"Nathan Ellington and Jason Roberts have been superb up front. Molineux is a fantastic place to go and play it's a top -class venue and the atmosphere is unbelievable.
"We won't be intimidated unlike last year when some of the lads weren't used to going to these big grounds. They now know what to expect.
"I've won and lost at Wolves before. I've also been steamrollered there and it's not a nice feeling but we're up for it."
