CHRIS KIRKLAND: Some fine performances but his injury problems persist 6

STEVE GOHOURI: Off to the World Cup with the Ivory Coast and has shown he's enthusiastic and is worth persevering with 6

GARY CALDWELL: Two sending-offs since arriving in January but couldn't be faulted for his honest endeavour 6

HENDRY THOMAS: Made a decent start but faded and has plenty to work on if he's to be a first team regular 5

PAUL SCHARNER: Moving on and will be missed after an up and down campaign for the charismatic Austrian 5

BEN WATSON: Loaned out for most of the season but returned at the end and did reasonably well in midfield 6

JASON SCOTLAND: Fair to say the striker found life in the Premier League a struggle 3

VICTOR MOSES: Definitely one for the future. He showed plenty of quality and will surely flourish next term 6

CHARLES N'ZOGBIA: His flair, pace and eye for goal lit up many a dull game this season 7

JORDI GOMEZ: Totally out of his depth 2

SCOTT SINCLAIR: Made a name for himself by dating Corrie actress Helen Flanagan - enough said 3

EMMERSON BOYCE: Continues to be the unsung hero who never ever gives anything less than 100 per cent effort 6

MARCELO MORENO: Not afraid to battle 5

TITUS BRAMBLE: Found his feet at Wigan and put in another highly creditable shift at centre-half 6

HUGO RODALLEGA: Played well and caused problems but likely to move 6

JAMES McCARTHY: Destined for better things 7

MARIO MELCHIOT: His best days are definitely behind him and surely it's time for younger legs at right-back 5

MOHAMED DIAME: Dave Whelan's player of the season - a quality cultured midfielder whose class quickly surfaced 7

VLADIMIRI STOJKOVIC: The jury is still out on the big Serbian keeper who appears to be a rather risky investment 4

MAYNOR FIGUEROA: Scored a wonder goal against Stoke but has never really hit the heights on a regular basis 5

ANTONIO AMAYA: Just made a handful of appearances and never really offered too much 4

JASON KOUMAS: Disappointing end to season 3
