WIGAN Athletic midfielder Jason Jarrett sustained a suspected broken leg in last night's 1-1 draw with Leigh RMI.

The former Bury junior was taken straight to hospital after falling awkwardly.

"Jason just fell - there was nothing malicious about the incident - he just went down," said Wigan coach David Lee.

Welsh international Neil Roberts equalised after Leigh had taken the lead.
