WIGAN Athletic skipper Arjan De Zeeuw today vowed to end a frustrating injury-hit season on a high.

The veteran Dutch defender has overcome a broken metatarsal and is now planning to help Wigan's relegation fight.

De Zeeuw, 37 next month, said: "Another three wins should be OK for us. It was a tremendous feeling being back against Fulham."

Next up on Saturday is the crunch clash with Charlton.
