Good news for Goodwin

Jim Goodwin's ban for the red card in the Cheshire Cup semi-final will only be three games and not four, as reported by the club last week.

Goodwin missed Saturday's trip to Cheltenham and will also sit out the games with Oldham and Peterborough.

County now have five players on four bookings after yellow cards for Luke Beckett and Fraser McLachlan at Cheltenham.

Rob Clare, Dave Challinor, and Ali Gibb are the other played who are one booking away from a suspension.
