STOCKPORT Express player of the month for November Tes Bramble believes that an FA Cup shock could well be on the cards at Vicarage Road on January 6.
Bramble, who got the nod for the November award following some gutsy displays up front in the four unbeaten games, has revealed that the mouth-watering FA Cup third round tie at Watford has already been the talk of the training ground.
Bramble said: "Ités good for us to have pulled out a Premiership team in the third round.
"The feeling in the camp is already positive. The lads were talking about the game in training on Monday, ités a great draw for us.
"Watford are struggling a bit in the Premiership, so if they have an off-day we might be able to take our chance.
"Maybe we could get a draw and bring them back to Edgeley Park. Weéve been very strong at home lately, weéve made real progress."
Bramble, aged 26, has been happy with his form of late, but he did have rather a miserable week last week, which culminated in him picking up a nasty gash during Friday nightés splendid FA Cup second round win over Wycombe.
The big front-man added: "Iéve been feeling a bit fitter and a bit sharper lately, and Iéve scored a couple of goals [in the wins at Exeter in the FA Cup and at Rochdale in the league].
"Everything was going really well for me until the beginning of last week when I picked up a flu bug.
"I still didnét feel too well on Friday, then I got caught with someoneés studs just underneath my ear.
"That was painful and I had to come off after having five stitches, but Iéve had no ill effects over the last couple of days and Iéll be available for the MK Dons game if Iém selected.
"The gaffer has shown confidence in me of late, and Iém hoping to pay him back with more goals over the coming weeks and months."
And goals are something that Bramble admits he does worry about a little, having scored just those two this term.
Manager Jim Gannon appears delighted with Brambleés input though, so maybe the ex-Southend striker neednét fret too much.
Bramble added: "Strikers are judged on how many goals they score of course, so that does play on my mind a bit, but thereés plenty more goals in me and I always do my best for the team."
