FRIDAY night football returns to Edgeley Park this week when the Hatters take on Leicester City.
And fans interested in records and statistics might be interested to learn that Countyés very first game as a Football League club was against the Foxes, then known as Leicester Fosse, way back in September 1900.
The clubs were then regular opponents over the next couple of decades in the (old) Division Two, but the Midlands outfit havenét visited Stockport in any competition since the 1924-25 season.
Jim Gannon is expected to name a full-strength line-up against City who are likely to include their four summer signings, Josh Low, Darren Kenton, Gareth McAuley and Andy Johnson.
Kick-off time at Edgeley Park is 7.45pm, with admission prices reduced to é10 for adults and é3 for all concessions.
An eight-page programme priced é1 will be available on the night.
