STOCKPORT Countyés Football in the Community staff will scarcely get time to take a break over the forthcoming summer holidays.

Local children will get the chance to attend any of a number of Charter Standard holiday courses, where kids between the ages of six and 16 can be coached by County Centre of Excellence staff, who are all FA qualified.

The main weekly summer soccer schools take place between Monday, July 31 and Friday, August 4 at Stockport School (Mile End Lane); at the same venue between Monday, August 7 and Friday, August 11; then at the Kingsway High School between Monday, August 14 and Friday, August 18.

Ités back to Stockport School between Monday, August 21 and Friday, August 25; then the final venue is Kingsway High again between Monday, August 29 and Friday, September 1.

Special match ticket offers and end-of-course awards are included, with six and seven-year-olds paying é7 (daily rate), é25 (pre-booked weekly rate) or é30 (on-day weekly booking).

Eight to 16-year-olds pay é12 (daily), é40 (pre-booked weekly) or é45 (on-day weekly booking).

Meanwhile, Countyés popular summer ésporting totsé course returns for three to five-year-olds, at Stockport School for two weeks only.

County coaches will aim to improve childrensé teamwork, co-ordination and football skills, between Tuesday, August 1 and Thursday, August 3; and Tuesday, August 22 and Thursday, August 24 (10am-12 noon).

The daily rate is é7 per child, or é20 if the three days are pre-booked.

Finally, a special advanced week of coaching by Countyés Centre of Excellence staff takes place between Monday, July 24 and Friday, July 28 at Stockport School.

Budding stars aged between 11 and 16 can showcase their skills, with the aim of the week being hopefully to identify some potential players for Countyés Centre of Excellence.

The advanced school runs between 10am and 3pm on the above days. The daily cost is é15, or é50 for week if booked in advance.

The weekly on-day booking price is é60 per child.
