WITH the new League Two season rapidly approaching and the fixtures for next season about to come out, Stockport Countyés Football in the Community staff have sent out information to junior football clubs who would like to have the opportunity to provide ballboys for 2006/07 home games at Edgeley Park.
For further information contact the clubés ballboy coordinator Rob at the community office on 0161 286 8888, extension 262.
Meanwhile, last week saw the Football in the Community office resume its PPA and in-term coaching programme after two weeks of World Cup Whitsun fun for boys and girls.
All the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves, despite the scorching heat, at World Cup Whitsun and took part in various challenges and a tournament on the final day.
Football in the Community would like to thank County striker Liam Dickinson, who took time out to go and take part in a question and answer session at the Woodley course, as well as taking part in sessions and passing on his skills to the children who attended.
Upon resuming the term time programme, FITC held after-school clubs at Hayfield Primary, High Peak, North Reddish Junior, Norbury Hall, Hazel Grove and Nevill Road Primary School in Bramhall.
