COUNTY fan Bob Smith-Bewley, from RESB Waste Management Ltd, was not only the first Stockport business to sign up with the new é100 Clubé, he has also committed to signing a significant club sponsorship deal for the 2006/07 season.
On joining the é100 Clubé, Bob said: éItés a great way of meeting other businesses in the Stockport area, and the potential for all 100 Club members to win the kit sponsorship and promote their company is a fantastic benefit for anyone. It could be the best é1,000 you ever spend.é
In addition he has also pledged a five-figure sum for sponsorship next season, which includes promotion and advertising of his business at the stadium, plus his usual season ticket in the Main Stand.
éI believe that Stockport County are in a false position and good things are around the corner,é added Bob.
éI wanted to invest some funds into the club to help Jim Gannon and the team prosper next season, and get County back to where we belong. Iém a massive County fan and Iéd call on other County fans with a business in the town to do the same.é
Martin Booker, Countyés commercial manager, said: éItés great that another County fan is backing the club next season. Bobés enthusiasm for County is great news for the club. Iém looking forward to developing the relationship with both parties over the coming months.é
