STOCKPORT County will give away a sponsorship package worth more than é25,000 to one local business as part of the é100 Clubé launch for the 2006/07 season.

The winning firm will see their logo emblazoned on the back of Countyés new strip next season, while proceeds from this innovative idea will help to raise funds to enhance Countyés playing squad.

The opportunity for 100 Club members to be in an exclusive prize draw for the kit sponsorship is a major attraction - the prize was won this season by RGN Flooring Supplies.

Graham Noden, the owner of the company, and his family, have been loyal supporters of County for four generations and the sponsorship has contributed to a record trading year for RGN Flooring Supplies.

Noden said: "As a fan and sponsor, I was pleased to back the 100 Club, and to win the kit sponsorship has been terrific for our business. Since the sponsorship started our trade sales have been boosted and fans who call in to see us appreciate our backing for County."

Countyés chief executive Kevan Taylor said: "I was delighted that a wide array of local businesses, including our main sponsors, Parfetts Cash and Carry, existing and new sponsors of County and groups of fans all came forward to support County when we introduced the 100 Club in May last year.

"Members have not only enjoyed the benefits of the 100 Club, which are valued at more than é1,500, they have also developed their businesses by using the networking contacts within the 100 Club and they each had the opportunity to win kit sponsorship valued at é25,000 at the launch dinner."

For a membership fee of just é1,000 (plus VAT), members will initially receive four invitations to a launch dinner on July 6 at Edgeley Park. This exclusive event will be followed by a networking event in the Autumn and four invites to a mid-season dinner with players and management, as well as ten hospitality places during the 2006/07 season.

Each member will also receive the new County shirt, designed and chosen by County fans, autographed and framed for display purposes.

All 100 Club members will feature in a special é100 Clubé honours page in every home matchday programme next season and in the new on-line directory on Countyés website: www.stockportcounty.com.

A major incentive of the 100 Club is to be the lucky business, which will win the right to have their company logo on the back of Countyés shirts throughout the 2006/07 season.

The market value for kit sponsorship of this type is at least é25,000 and will give the winning company some welcome media exposure.

The lucky winner will be drawn at the launch dinner on July 6.

Membership of the é100 Clubé creates an opportunity for local businesses and fans to demonstrate their loyal support for County, offers value for money, and gives businesses a chance to win a unique prize.

Bob Smith-Bewley, Managing Director of RESB Waste Management Ltd is the first supporter to commit to membership of the é100 Clubé for the 2006/07 season, and Countyés team hope many more will follow suit in the coming weeks.
