Stockport County

Tickets are snapped up

THIS weekend Cheadle Heath primary school will benefit from Vernon Building Societyés sponsoship of a éSchool Family Fun Dayé for the home game against Bury.

More than 200 tickets have been snapped up so far from pupils at the school, and Vernon Bear paid a visit to the Vernon branch on Castle Street on Monday to personally thank staff for supporting the trial scheme which County hope will be a success.

In addition to the ticket scheme, one lucky pupil will also represent the school as a mascot - the draw was due to take place at the school this morning [Wed].

Countyés commercial manager Martin Booker said: "We are determined to make school fundays a real success because local children are the next generation of County fans.

"The fundays also provide sponsors with a terrific opportunity to promote their businesses, and I would invite any company interested in becoming involved in this really worthwhile scheme to contact me at County."

Martin can be reached on 0161 286 8903.
