Carl Piergianni completed a remarkable fight-back for Stockport County as they earned a vital point with a 2-2 draw against Telford United in the Blue Square Premier.
After an early exchange of possession, it was Telford who broke the deadlock on 16 minutes thanks to Chris Sharp.
Steve Jones then stunned the 2800-strong crowd by doubling the visitors’ lead before half-time.
After the break, Danny O’Donnell’s header from a corner handed County a life line.
Telford’s Phil Trainer then received two yellows in a matter of minutes and the equaliser came almost immediately after when Piergianni bundled the ball into the net with less than 10 minutes remaining to send Edgeley Park into raptures.

Yet another comeback ! Last year we would have gone on to lose these games 5-0, so at least Jim's instilled some fightback qualities, but we shouldn't be giving away daft goals.
The main problem is and has been for some time, we lack a goalpoacher, someone who can convert those half chances, we seem to make the chances but can't convert them. So c'mon Jim, SIGN A STRIKER !!!
No comment needed, Jim 'il fix it!!!
Shocking first half - worth a point and maybe a tad more from the second half effort.
The brightest performance was that of the ref who was superb - stand up and take a bow ms amy fearn of Loughborough. She didnt miss a trick and I cant recall a bad decision! Come back every week because we've had some shockers in this division.
all things considered we are turning around, doesnt matter who we are playing so much at the moment ----to me its about reversing the decline and thats started. I hope the new inward investment means Jim can keep strenghtening whilst getting rid of the dross.
I would think he will look to strengthen in all areas ( as he can within resource) and we will see new faces over time. We need most an experienced, tall, bullish forward and I am sure Jim is on the look out. The rot has stopped and we are not as consistently as inconsistent as those rich Blues up the road, with the money they have invested they should have done the trebble. Progress is what we are making gentlemen----progress
Agree with most of the comments, positives inlcude fightbacks in two consecutive games from 2 down, two homes games played without defeat. Marginally better performances. As James stated in his programme notes and in the media before Tuesdays game, we need better players, & this will take time. Fingers crossed we have that time this season, as a relegation would, I imagine, be catatrosphic. Very pleased to see Spencer Fearn join us, although I have one small point in that I'm not sure the decision to use some of his investment to hire a new Chief Executive is the best use of the limited funds we have, perhaps the board could explain this decision in more detail?
Also, agree totally with regards the ref on Tuesday, excellent performance from Ms Fearns.
