Stockport County are facing a fight to keep hold of skipper Paul Turnbull.
He is yet to sign the one-year deal offered to him at the end of the season and has until June 21 to make up his mind.
County face competition from Northampton Town for the midfielder’s services after manager Gary Johnson went on record about his admiration for the 22-year-old. There is a feeling at Edgeley Park that he may yet spurn Northampton’s advances and stay put.
But Greg Tansey has agreed a deal with Inverness, a move that would see the Hatters get nothing for a player they’ve nurtured for 10 years because it’s a cross-border transfer.
Ray Mathias is also waiting on Danny Rowe and Daniel O’Donnell to sign new deals. Both have been offered one-year extensions and while Rowe is expected to sign, the future of O’Donnell is less clear.
County only have Matty Mainwaring, Matt Glennon, Mark Lynch, Cameron Darkwah and Andy Halls contracted for next season.
Have your say.

Like Tansey, no great loss if he goes, given that he's been part of two relegations and the worst County side to ever grace EP.
looks like we will be playing with the new , revolutionary, 2-1-1 system next season ..although Lynch might still start on the bench
on his way to Northampton. I just hope we get a decent compensation for him.
