County's match is off cause of the rain. Strange that when Sale Sharks said that they had bought covers so that no game would be called off again. Was that no Sale Sharks game would be called off again. I bet they go down on two days before they play if, that's IF they were ever bought in the first place. Count to ten......than calm, all is calm, think peaceful thoughts. Thanks Doctor it's working.

Brinksway Boy - if what you suggest actually happens then some further action is surely needed. Imagine what chaos a couple of thousand County fans walking peacefully and slowly up and down Hardcastle Road would cause as they queue up on a Sharks match night!!! If something like this were organised then I would have no hesitation in travelling up from Cornwall to take part!!!!

The problem, they probably, had was they needed to allow the pitch to dry out so therefore had to leave the pitch open to the elements, the problem arose because the groundstaff didn't look at the weather forecast for tuesday. The other problem is county fans posting articles which they do not know are true, as brinksway boy has, or the other idoits reporting that sale have a home game on this friday, which they don't, just to spark up turmoil. If what is reported that the council are to sponsor county = to the rent they pay, then it seem the council has a lot of money, so the people of Stockport don't have to pay their council tax this year then.
