TWO goals in four first-half minutes set Bristol Rovers on their way to victory over Stockport County at Edgeley Park.
Within four minutes, County had gifted Rovers their opener.
Striker Jo Kuffour had already seen one effort fly over the crossbar before Michael Raynes headed the ball over Owain Fon Williams as he came out to deal with a bouncing ball, leaving Kuffour to tap into the empty net.
Williams did well to save from Jeff Hughes moments later, but after Danny Coles had headed home from the resulting corner, County were 2-0 down inside 10 minutes.
It could have got even worse for Gary Ablett’s side after last-man Gianluca Havern was adjudged to have used his head to deflect the ball away from the lively Kuffour when he appeared to use his hand.
Both Greg Tansey and Peter Thompson went close for County in the second-half, while Kuffour saw an effort come back off the post for Rovers.
And substitute Declan Edwards had Stockport’s final chance of the game, curling a tame shot wide of Fraser Forster’s goal, as the Hatters slumped to their first league defeat of the new season.
What is your verdict on the action? Have your say.

Do others feel the same, and is the Super10 Tickets killing the club of revenue?

Why are we still in administration?
I thought Mr Melrose and his team had purchased the club and put a financial plan in place?
The fact that no points were deducted this season, led me to believe all was sorted out?
Its no wonder the crowds are well down even though Des on Pure FM said over 4000 is not bad for the time of the year!! sorry des, this was a very poor crowd and you know it!!
The truth of the matter is thast the County fans do not know the truth about what is going on and until they do, they will not part with their hard earned!
Give Gary a chance to improve his squad as we will be too far adrift at the bottom if we don't act quickly?
Regards
