Hoyle said: "Jim Gannon has publicly expressed his opinion on the situation. He knows that I don't always agree with some of his views.
"But he also knows that I have the utmost respect for him and want him to stay at Edgeley Park and continue the excellent work he's done over the past three years."
Hoyle has also apologised for the lack of information about the club's finances in recent weeks.
"The situation has been constantly changing," he added.
"The evolving situation meant any update would quickly become obsolete."
