ANTHONY PILKINGTON: Another youngster who should thrive in League One, Pilkington ended a fine season with a goal at Wembley. 7
STEPHEN GLEESON: Second loan spell from Wolves for Gleeson was highlighted by a spectacular equaliser in the play-off semi-final at Wycombe.
TOMMY ROWE: Brilliant final three months of the season for the 19-year-old, who had the scouts flocking to see his performances on the left wing or up front. 8
JIM McNULTY: Arrived from Macclesfield in the New Year, and showed he could make his mark at left-back or in central defence. 7
PAUL TURNBULL: The young midfielder fully deserved his new contract after returning from loan spell at Altrincham to help propel County through play-offs. 7
DOMINIC BLIZZARD: Formed an excellent partnership with Dicker in central midfield, proving he has the ability for a higher level. 8
JAMES SMITH: Made the right-back spot his own after recovering from a couple of dodgy moments following his permanent arrival from Liverpool. 7
ADAM PROUDLOCK: Fans' favourite Proudlock didn't play as many games as he would have wished, but scored some crucial goals including a hat-trick in 6-0 win over Wycombe in December. 7
LEON McSWEENEY: A promising addition to Gannon's squad at the season's halfway stage, the winger scored the winner at Dagenham in February. 7
