Bury list Kenny

BURY have placed goalkeeper Paddy Kenny on the transfer list.

The 23-year-old has been winning rave reviews all season, but has been made available as the Shakers look to raise some finance to help out with their much-publicised financial problems.

And according to the club's official site, his name has been circulated to all Premiership and first division sides as Bury try to precipitate a sale.

Canaries link

Manchester United are known to have had a past interest in the player, but their signing of Roy Carroll would seemingly make any swoop for Kenny unlikely.

Another more likely destination would be Norwich City. The Canaries lost number one Andy Marshall to Ipswich in the summer and would welcome more competition for youngster Robert Green as their first choice.

Kenny cost the Shakers just £5,000 from non-league side Bradford Park Avenue when he signed three years ago, but he would now command a fee closer to seven figures.

The news that he's been made available for transfer comes just hours after Terry Robinson's shock resignation as chairman.
