OLDHAM had to settle for a point in a 6 goal thriller at Boundary Park.
The home side went in at the break with a 1-0 lead after big defender Stewart Balmer headed home his 5th goal of the season after 18 minutes.
Then the game went goal crazy with 5 being scored in an amazing 13 minutes.
Bournemouth grabbed an equaliser in the 53rd minute, then 2 minutes later Balmer turned villan when he brought down Warren Feeney in the box and he quickly recovered to fire in the spot kick.
Oldham levelled to a 56 minute own goal from Karl Broadhurst.
They retook the lead in the 63rd minute when a rocket shot from the edge of the box gave leading scorer David Eyres his 11th goal of the season.
But the Latics had to settle for a draw after Bournemouth levelled again in the 66th minute through Richard Hughes.
