ROCHDALE'S 'keeper crisis has eased thanks to Bolton agreeing to extend Steve Banks' loan spell with the club.
With Neil Edwards facing a second operation on his knee, Dale were anxious to extend the services of the 29-year-old, who was brought in on a one-month loan deal by manager John Hollins in December.
"We've extended Banks' loan deal for another month because of Neil's injury. It's the same we've done again with Banksy, hopefully giving Neil time to recover," Hollins told the club's official website.
"Steve Banks has just got better and better since his arrival. His kicking, distribution and all round goalkeeping have improved and his quality saves at Exeter and Macclesfield have meant the difference between points and points lost."
