Preview: Oldham Athletic v Swindon Town

OLDHAM Athletic will be aiming to put the nightmare of their worst week of the season behind them when they take on Swindon tonight (Wednesday).

Mick Wadsworth's side made shock exits from the FA cup and the LDV Vans Trophy as well as losing ground in the chase for the play-offs.

But he insisted: ''We will get it right.''

The Latics players were called in for training on Sunday and Wadsworth added: ''They are disappointed. There are only the promotion play-offs to go for and we must now focus our efforts on getting there.''

Swindon are just three places above the drop zone and a much-needed win for the Latics would set them up for Saturday's visit of bottom four side Wrexham.

Wadsworth said: ''Both games are winnable and we have to make sure there are no more slip-ups.''

Oldham will be without midfielder Darren Sherdian who has damaged ankle ligaments. His place will be taken by Barnsley's Matty Appleby who has moved to Boundary Park on loan.
