MACCLESFIELD Town go into their game with third division favourites Luton Town on the crest of a slump.

New manager David Moss faces a tough test against the club with whom he made his name in the 1970s.

He goes into the game desperately trying to bolster his strike force with a loan signing and has been linked with Crewe’s out-of-favour forward Colin Little though the Cheshire side are said to want £150,000.

With Kyle Lightbourne fighting to make the bench and Dick Tracey still sidelined after aggravating a long-term injury, Moss has few options and may play fans’ favourite Chris Byrne alongside Lee Glover.
