PAUL Jewell won’t name his Wigan Athletic side for the clash against Danny Wilson’s unbeaten Bristol City at the JJB Stadium until the last minute.

He is praying that his injury problems will ease over the next 24 hours but the Latics will still be well below full strength.

Andy Liddell and Peter Kennedy are definitely out and £500,000 defender Jason De Vos is the latest addition to the casualty list.

He fractured a foot in Tuesday’s Worthington Cup tie at Blackpool and is likely to be out for up to eight weeks. Said Jewell:"I've never known anything like it. We're having some terrible luck."
